The Coombabah Lake Conservation Park protects over 2500 acres of a lowland coastal habitat and houses over 125 species of Australian wildlife.

Within the park, you will certainly see plenty of wildlife including kangaroos and koalas as well as a large variety of birds. From the boardwalk, visitors can see across to the Coombabah Lake’s western shore, an undeveloped lake habitat where the bird watching is excellent.
There are a number of walks you can take within the Coombabah Lake Nature Reserve including: the Koala Track and the Kookaburra Track. All tracks are easy walks and suitable for people with moderate fitness as well as children.
